Who is Stender?

Stender is a self-taught contemporary artist and printmaker who predominantly works in Screen Prints and Giclée Prints. Born and raised in the East End of London, and growing up in the 70’s and 80’s Stender likes to combine popular culture and topical subjects from that era and now, into his works.

He has been to the Tate Modern, and once got drunk at the Royal Collage of Art student bar. A highlight of his career was showing at 'The Pancakes And Booze Art Show'. Food, Beer and Art, what more do you need?
