Who is AAwatson ? 

AAWatson grew up in south-west Scotland before embarking on a successful career in the corporate world. Having travelled extensively for both work and pleasure he has now settled in London where he has been re-discovering his love of art and printmaking. AAWatsons artwork starts out as a Giclée printed vintage portrait. He then uses more modern techniques to screen print the text using varnish onto the print; whilst the varnish is still tacky he hand applies the gold leaf.

The process of hand-finishing starts with the delicate removal of the excess gold leaf, the nature of doing this by hand produces a hand-finished piece of art that is unique just like this print ‘The Lunatics Are In Charge Now’
