We sell original art from a selection of highly talented artists. Our collection currently comprises works by John Curtis, Mr. Controversial and TRUST.iCON. Each artist produces their art using a different style and medium.

What is Original Art? 

There are a fair few ways in which it is possible to define original art – A good way to think of it is artwork directly from the artist’s hand. 

Our favourite originals include ‘Cans’ from John Curtis. He uses acrylics, oils, enamel paints and spray paint to build up his evocative images of urban life. Mr. Controversial uses a combination of mixed media, oil paints and hand-pulled screen printing to create his artwork that is full of sass; ‘Your Love is out of this world*...   Occasionally’ also has black diamond dust and a hand-applied varnish to make it truly sparkle. ‘Safe - Gold Variant’ by TRUST.iCON is a piece of original stencil art and was created by the artist using a custom made stencil and spray paint.  

Original artwork is prized by art lovers, as it has a more personal connection with the artist and is produced in a way as to make it one of a kind. Original art can be produced as a one-off; or as a small numbered edition each of which is produced by the artist, with some degree of artistic variability.

Original artworks from the artist's own hand are always more desirable and tend to be more valuable than a print and so appeal to art collectors.
