Who is Alex Bucklee ?

Alex Bucklee is a print making artist living in London who produces screen prints with a message, he could easily be considered a subversive artist. Alex is a relatively new artist who pulls heavily from traditional graphic design and illustration techniques; combining images and typography in thought provoking ways. What is Typography?

Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable and appealing. The arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces, (fonts) point sizes, line lengths, line-spacing, and letter spacing .

Alex has gone beyond this with his silk screen print of  ‘Eye Test’ where 20 letters have become a powerful statement about the complacency with which we view the world around us – Art should evoke an emotion and the ‘Eye Test’ screen print does this superbly and looks wonderful framed and up on a wall
