Alex is a London based designer and artist. Originally from Norfolk, Alex moved to East London as a young adult, where he worked as a designer for multiple global brands, before embarking on a career as a professional artist. His work blends minimalist and striking graphics drawn from his design background and often uses typography to get his message across. His immaculate screen prints are hand finished with tools of the Street Art trade such as spray paints and Krink graffiti markers. Bucklee’s art explores contemporary social and personal themes such as loneliness, homophobia and political apathy. His humorous and graceful work attempts to help tackle the problems within society, and the problems he deals with in his own mind, by sparking discussion.
