Bristol Gaol Ferry Bridge, Limited Print by John Curtis.
This wonderful print is of the Gaol (jail) Ferry Iron Bridge that links Wapping Wharf with Southville near the site of the original Bristol dockyard jail. Wapping Wharf and the M Shed have gone through an extensive gentrification process in recent years and has become a very trendy part of Bristol culture.
This print of the bridge at night is inspired by John's photography in and around Bristol. Gaol Ferry Bridge was built in 1934 and is a superb example of a small suspension bridge; still in use today for cyclists and pedestrians.
